Fannin sufurin teku na Najeriya ya samu gagarumin ci gaba a shekarar 2025, inda jimillar kayan da aka sarrafa a tashoshin jiragen ruwa ta karu da kashi 24.8 cikin ɗari, daga ton miliyan 103.6 a 2024 zuwa ton miliyan 129.3, a cewar sabon rahoton ayyuka na Hukumar Tashoshin Jiragen Ruwa ta Najeriya (NPA).
Manajan Daraktan NPA, Dakta Abubakar Dantsoho, ya bayyana wannan ci gaba a matsayin ɗaya daga cikin mafi girma a tarihin sufurin teku na ƙasar, yana mai cewa hakan ya ƙarfafa matsayin Najeriya a harkokin kasuwanci na yankin da ma duniya baki ɗaya.
Rahoton ya nuna cewa duk da cewa shigo da kaya ne har yanzu ya fi yawa, fitar da kaya ya samu ƙaruwa mai ɗorewa, inda ya kai kashi 39 cikin ɗari na jimillar jigilar kaya, yayin da shigo da kaya ya kai kashi 59.2 cikin ɗari, sai kuma jigilar kaya ta wucewa (transshipment) da ta kai kashi 1.8 cikin ɗari. Masana sun ce ƙaruwa a fitar da kaya na nuna ƙoƙarin gwamnati na faɗaɗa tattalin arziƙi fiye da dogaro da man fetur kaɗai.
Haka kuma, zirga-zirgar kwantena (containers) ta karu da kashi 25.7 cikin ɗari zuwa miliyan 2.1 na TEUs. Kwantenonin da aka shigo da su sun karu da kashi 32.8 cikin ɗari, yayin da na fitarwa suka tashi da kashi 3.1 cikin ɗari. Kwantenonin da aka jigilar ta wucewa kuma sun yi tashin gwauron zabo da kashi 205.8 cikin ɗari, lamarin da ke nuna yadda Najeriya ke zama cibiyar sufuri ta yankin.
Tashar Lekki ce ta jagoranci ƙasar wajen sarrafa kaya, inda ta riƙe kashi 40.6 cikin ɗari na jimillar kaya, sai Tashar Onne da kashi 19.1 cikin ɗari, sannan Tashar Apapa da kashi 16.7 cikin ɗari. Lekki ta kuma karɓi manyan jirage mafi girma, da matsakaicin girman ton 55,712 GRT, yayin da Onne ke biye da ton 53,022 GRT.
Ko da yake Tashar Tin Can Island ce ta fi yawan zuwan jirage da kashi 22.7 cikin ɗari, tashoshin Lekki da Onne suna ƙara karɓar manyan jirage, abin da ke haɓaka damar Najeriya wajen sarrafa kaya masu daraja.
Gaba ɗaya, yawan jiragen ruwa da suka iso ya karu da kusan kashi 12 cikin ɗari zuwa jirage 4,477.
Kayan ruwa masu yawa (liquid bulk), ciki har da man fetur da sinadarai, sun ci gaba da mamaye kaso mafi girma da kashi 54.7 cikin ɗari, yayin da kayan kwantena suka kai kashi 24 cikin ɗari. Masana sun ce ci gaban da ake samu a ingancin zirga-zirgar jiragen ruwa na nuna yadda Najeriya ke daidaitawa da ƙa’idojin sufurin teku na duniya.
Dantsoho ya ce ana sa ran ci gaba zai ƙaru ne ta hanyar shirin sabunta tashoshin jiragen ruwa da kuma aiwatar da tsarin National Single Window, waɗanda za su inganta kayayyakin more rayuwa, faɗaɗa damar sarrafa kaya, tare da amfani da hanyoyin zamani na dijital domin ƙara inganci da sauƙaƙa harkokin kasuwanci.
